Michael Baumanns career began in the 80s, when he started to DJ and produce HipHop tracks. Since then, he developed his very own style in between Deep House and minimal Techno, a sound with a strong relation to the roots of House Music: Chicago. Michael Baumanns Sound is neither Retro nor polished or "modern" - its just music from the heart with a strong soulvibe. Beside his own label Philpot he has released his tracks on many reknown labels like Perlon, Playhouse or Pokerflat.
